Safety Center

Real plans. Real people. Real respect.

Strykee brings people together in real life, so safety comes first. Here's who Strykee is for, the standards everyone agrees to, how to meet people safely, and what we do when something goes wrong.

Strykee is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. We remove profiles we believe belong to anyone under 18, and we remove adults who try to contact minors.

Our commitments

Adults only

Strykee is for people 18 and over. Profiles that belong to minors are removed, along with their data.

Report and block in a tap

Report and Block are one tap away in the app. Blocking is silent: they aren't told.

Every report is reviewed

A real person reviews every report. We don't tell the person you reported who reported them.

Zero tolerance

Threats, sexual harassment, hate and any attempt to contact minors lead to removal. Where the law requires it, we report to the authorities.

Private by design

Your phone number is never published, and your location is only used to find places near you. It's never stored or shared. You choose who sees each plan.

Your data, your call

Delete everything from the app at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for details.

Community Guidelines

Everyone on Strykee agrees to these standards. They're part of our Terms of Use, and breaking them can mean losing access to Strykee.

Be real

Use your own name and photo. Don't pretend to be someone else or lie about your age.

Respect boundaries

A no, a silence or a declined invitation is an answer. Don't push, pressure or keep inviting someone who isn't interested.

Keep it kind

No harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech or discrimination based on who someone is.

Keep plans what they say

A plan for padel is a plan for padel. Don't use plans for dating pressure, sexual advances, selling or recruiting.

Protect minors

Never contact, invite or arrange to meet anyone under 18. We remove anyone who does and, where the law requires, report them to the authorities.

Keep it legal and safe

No plans involving illegal activity, weapons, drugs or anything that puts people in danger.

No spam

Don't mass-invite people, advertise or promote anything without our permission.

Show up, or say so

If you can't make it, let people know. Reliability is how trust is built.

Meeting people safely

Before

  • Meet new people in busy public places, and in a group where you can.
  • Tell a friend where you're going, who you're meeting and when you'll be back.
  • Keep personal details, like your home address, to yourself until you trust someone.

During

  • Get there and back on your own terms, and keep your phone charged.
  • Know your limits, especially with physical activities and alcohol.
  • If something feels wrong, leave. You never owe anyone an explanation.

After

  • If anyone made you uncomfortable, block and report them, even if it seems small.
  • If someone hurt you or broke the law, contact the police, then tell us so we can act.

Reporting and what happens next

  1. Report

Open the person or invitation in Strykee, tap ⋯ and choose Report. You can also email [email protected] with "Safety" in the subject.

  2. Review

A real person reviews it. We look at what you sent and anything else we need to understand it.

  3. Action

Depending on what happened, we may warn the person, limit what they can do, or remove their profile and access.

  4. Escalate

If someone may be in danger, or a minor is involved, we preserve information and report to the authorities where the law requires.

To report someone you believe is under 18, use Report and choose the closest reason, or email us with "Underage" in the subject. Profiles of minors are removed with their data.

For parents and guardians

Strykee is built for adults who want to meet people and do things in real life, so it isn't for anyone under 18.

  • If your child is using Strykee, email [email protected] with "Underage" in the subject. We'll remove their profile and data. You don't need to prove anything to make the report.
  • To control what your child can download, use Apple's Screen Time and Family Sharing. On your child's iPhone go to Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions, where you can limit apps by age rating and require approval for downloads with Ask to Buy.
  • If you think a child is at risk, contact the police first, then tell us. We cooperate with law enforcement on child safety.

Emergencies

If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number now. Strykee isn't an emergency service and can't send help.
